Anti-Malware Software

Currently I recommend 'Malwarebytes' to home users and businesses alike. Malwarebytes is a simple scanner that reliably removes all the spyware/adware/malware that isn't technically a virus and so is left behind by your antivirus product. I don't personally use the 'paid for' version although you might want to consider it if you would rather not remember to run it manually (I suggest once a month).

Malwarebytes has both a free and paid for version and is open source software.
